The History Of Internet : start to present

 Today we want to know all the details about internet on this page. What is the Internet? In what year and who invented the Internet and which organization was the first to use the Internet. And we also want to know who is the owner of Internet and the history of internet :start to present

So today's post is about a very important topic. I hope you read the whole post very carefully.

What is Internet ::

The Internet is the sum total of many interconnected computer networks around the world that are open to the public and where data is exchanged through an authentic system called IP or Internet Protocol.
The internet is an acronym for Interconnected Network , its formed by connecting computer Networks to each other through special gateways or routers.

About three billion people worldwide use the Internet. The Internet is a technology that can be easily connected from one computer to another. Through the internet we use all the popular sites like YouTube, Facebook.

History of Internet ::

The primary reason for the invention of the Internet was the military. Extreme Cold War between the two superpowers, the Soviet Union and the United States, has left the superpowers of the two superpowers fearful of a nuclear bomb. They feared that an atomic bomb could destroy the entire communications system.

The Internet is an alternative to the telephone in order to protect the communication medium from destruction. The U.S. military first used the Internet in 1969 to maintain a constant secret communication with its positions around the world.

The Advanced Research Projects Agency, a U.S. military research organization, builds communications between universities in that country. This was originally done in the 1980s. This S-color system was originally created using the packet switching method hence the name ARPANET. The Internet was later made available to the world by the ISP in 1989.

Needless to say, the Internet was widely used from the mid-1990s to the late 1990's, especially in the Western world.

In the late sixties, various packet switching networks like Merit Network, Team Net, Tel Net, NPL, Mark, Cyclidis were launched. It was further developed using various protocols. In 1970 , Raymond Samuel Tomlinson, an American programmer, developed an e-mail addresses. In 1971 Arpanet developed an email-friendly email system. The symbol @ was first used in 1972 for e-mail addresses.

On July 25, 1973 , ARPANET was established at the University College London with the United States. This was the first international network communication. Later that year, Robert Kahn and Vinton Surf developed TCP / IP, the Transmission Control Protocol and the Internet Protocol. TCP / IP became the universal language of the Internet in the 1980's.

The first TCP / IP test was held in 1975 between Stanford University and London University College. Two years later, TCP / IP communications were tested on three networks between the United States, the United Kingdom, and Norway. Bitnet is one of them. More than a thousand organizations from around half a hundred countries were connected to this network.

In 1980 , software engineer Tim Burns Lee put a new idea into practice. He thought of a computer program. Which will act like the human brain. From there, the stored information can be retrieved as needed. He created a new software and through it connected the information stored in the computer to each other. The name of the software was HyperText. Then he invented a special coding system called HTML, the Hypertext Mark Language.

This led to the formation of links between multiple sources of information. Which is known as hypertext transfer protocol. With the TCP / IP address discovered by Vint Surf and Robert Kern, any type of communication on the Internet would be managed over HTTP or FTP. Large numbers can be used to access different files on large mainframe computers or servers.

In 1984 , the National Science Foundation of the United States introduced another form of public communication called NSFNET. At that time it was only a means of exchanging information for research work. Within three years it had spread all over the world. Gradually more and more small and big networks are formed. In three years, the speed of data transfer is greatly improved.

Then for the first time, the internet gained the ability to attract commercial investors. The next year, in 1988 , the Internet of Things took an international form. Canada, France, Sweden, Norway, Ireland, Denmark are connected to NSFNET.

In 1989 , Swedish scientist Tim Bernal Lee discovered the World Wide Web (WWW). This has made it possible to exchange information more quickly through the Internet. The speed of internet increased in a couple of years. When the internet facility is running at the speed of 45 megabits per second. Commercial Internet service providers began to appear in the 1990's.

Electronic mail, video calls, instant messaging, voice over internet protocol, phone calls, various internet forums, social communication, online buying and selling, business trade, these web sites were launched. E-Bone was created in 1992 in the style of NSF. The Internet was launched across Europe on September 22nd.

In April 1993, the Windows operating system launched its first web browser, Mosaic.

Jeff Bezos founded Amazon in 1994. Through which the new world of E-Commerce began. Internet was introduced in Bangladesh in 1996 . The first Google office was launched in 1998. Wikipedia was created in 2001 by Jimmy Wales and other partner Larry Sanger. Which is the largest encyclopedia in the world.

Mark Zuckerberg came up with new surprises. He launched Facebook in December 2004. A landmark change in social communication is taking place all over the world with the help of Facebook.

In 2007 , mobile and smartphone technology began to grow rapidly. The 4G network was launched in the United States in 2010. Instagram was launched this year. This medium of social communication is now at its peak of popularity. In 2010 , the number of registered domains stood at 200 million .

Astronaut TJ Kramer was able to send the first tweet message from space in 2010.

In 2011, the number of Internet users stood at 2 billion. In 2012, that number exceeded 2.4 billion. In 2020, about four and a half billion people, we can not think of our lives without the Internet. The Internet, which contributes to almost every aspect of life, has thus taken its place among us through the combined efforts of many people
