From sex worker to famous screenwriter of Bollywood. 

There are many things hidden inside Bollywood, one of the biggest film industries in the world. This Bollywood film world is very strange. Thousands of people work here. There are different stories associated with one's life. Leaving the old past and then coming to Bollywood , today they are well established . Some are famous for screenwriting, some for directing, some for acting.

One such person is Sagufta Rafiq. One of the most popular screenwriters of Bollywood. Sagufta entered the film world at the age of 11. He acted in a small role. She was then asked to dance at one private party. He was 12 years old then. From there he met a person associated with Bollywood.

Sagufta's life changed soon after that. When she was just 17 years old, the man associated with Bollywood forced her into prostitution.  And After that , she worked as a sex worker for 10 years. 

Not only this, there is another sad story in his life.

Sagufta did not know who was her birth mother . Although he spent his childhood dependent on an actress named Anwari Begum. As Anwari given  him with all the happiness and comfort, he also took it away. And he said, this time Sagufta has to continue as himself. Since then he started dancing again. Besides she dancing in various bars, she also started working as a sex worker.

After 10 years of doing this for a long time, Mahesh Bhatt, father of Bollywood famous director and producer as well as actresses Pooja Bhatt and Alia Bhatt, brought Sagufta out of the sex profession. After that, Sagufta  joined Mahesh Bhatt's production company. 

Sagufta wrote the first screenplay based on the events that happened in his own life. That list includes Jannat 2 , Aashiqui 2, Raj 3,  Sadak 2 etc. All the films are directed and produced by Mahesh Bhatt. 

Besides, he also wrote the screenplay of a Telugu film.

Apart from this, Sagufta also wrote screenplays for several TV serials. 

This struggling woman who came from the forbidden village has also directed a film. But it was not of Bollywood, but of Tollywood. He is the director of the film 'Mann Jaane Na' starring Mimi Chakraborty and Yash which was released last year. Sagufta is established at the age of 57 today. Everyone knows him by one name.

Sagufta is considered one of the most powerful characters behind the camera in Bollywood today.
