Wolves could be in line for a potential transfer boost as former Doncaster Rovers goalkeeper Sam Johnstone reportedly seeks to leave Crystal Palace.
Johnstone, who is currently behind Dean Henderson in the pecking order at Palace, has been a fixture on the bench during the club's opening league games this season. Earlier reports suggested he was considering a move away from Selhurst Park, with Leicester City, Wolverhampton Wanderers, and Southampton among the clubs keeping an eye on his situation.

Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner has confirmed that Johnstone has expressed a desire to leave. According to Sky Sports, Glasner stated, “Sam told us he wants to leave, and if he finds a club, he can go. Obviously, this isn't the ideal situation for him to get a starting position.”
Wolves have recently been linked with Johnstone, so his expressed wish to move could provide an advantage to the Molineux-based side.

Although Johnstone is not Palace’s first-choice goalkeeper, he has a strong track record. Before joining Palace, he spent four years as West Bromwich Albion’s top keeper and had two loan spells at Doncaster Rovers during his early career at Manchester United, making 32 appearances for the club in the Championship and League One.
