In April 2024, Shelley, Krystal, and Stelen attended the CMT Awards, where their father was honored with a tribute performance by Brooks & Dunn, Lainey Wilson, and Sammy Hagar. Stelen remarked on the red carpet, “It’s amazing to see his music celebrated.”
After a month , Krystal accepted honorary degree from University of Oklahoma on behalf of her father. All three of Toby’s children are OU alumni.

Born on September 30, 1985, Krystal chose to use her father’s stage name instead of his birth surname. Following in Toby's musical footsteps, she first gained attention with her 2004 duet on "Mockingbird." She released her own album, *Whiskey & Lace*, in 2013, featuring the song “Daddy Dance with Me,” which she performed at her 2010 wedding. Krystal, a University of Oklahoma graduate, now lives in the state with her two daughters, Kirby and Hensley. Stelen Keith Covel , 27
Toby and Tricia’s youngest child, Stelen, was born on April 17, 1997. Recognized for his resemblance to his father, Stelen graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a focus on entrepreneurship. He co-owns several businesses, including 405 Burger Bar and Sellout Crowd, a sports news network. Stelen married Haley Covel in November 2021, shortly before Toby's cancer diagnosis. After his father's death, Stelen posted a tribute on Instagram, honoring Toby as his mentor and hero.
